Battery Draining Fast

 Battery Draining Fast

Another common phone issue that users often come in for repair is rapid battery drainage. Let's first understand why your phone's battery starts draining faster than usual, and then the fixes for them are listed below:

1. **Not Closing Background Apps**: Ensure that you close apps running in the background, especially those that are not in use.

2. **Third-party App or System Glitch**: In that case, rebooting your device might be an effective solution. Use your phone in Safe Mode if necessary. If the battery works fine in Safe Mode, the issue is related to a third-party app. Then, you should uninstall recently downloaded apps.

3. **Using Too Many Apps**: Using too many apps also proves to be battery-consuming. Delete apps you don't use. Also, check if any specific app is consuming excessive battery power. Go to Settings >> About Phone >> Battery Usage. Look at the list of apps and see how much battery they are consuming. You can uninstall apps that are unnecessary but still draining the battery.

4. **Update Phone System and Software**: Update your phone's system to the latest version. You can check if any updates are available for your phone through Settings >> System Update.

5. **Excessive Notifications and Advertisements**: You can turn them off. Go to Settings >> Manage Apps >> Notifications. Disable notifications according to your needs.

6. **Faulty Charger or Charging Pattern**: Make sure you're using the original charger. Also, follow the 20-80 charging rule. This means always charge your battery between 20-80%.
